The Mystery Revealed

After many questions about what tonight's mystery was, the answer was given! Bro. Josh prepared several mystery games where the juniors needed to find clues which led to more clues, then a final prize! Before the games began, Bro. Josh had mystery boxes. Four juniors were chosen to leave the room. When they entered one at a time, they were given a choice of the three boxes and given the prize in each. Two of the boxes had candy or treats, but the middle box had Richard inside!!! The kids got a funny surprise when they opened up the middle box and found Richard.

Next, Bro. Josh gave us a great devotion, and then we had a dinner of chili and grilled cheese. We are so thankful for the twenty-five juniors who came out tonight and to the five adults who helped us with the games. We hope you enjoy the pictures.

Junior Mystery Madness

When: Saturday February 27 from 4-6pm

Where: Church Fellowship Hall

Who: Juniors up to sixth grade

We are looking forward to our Junior Mystery Madness next Saturday. We hope to see you all out here!!! Dinner will be served at the church. Let Bro. Josh know if you need a ride to the activity.

We had such a good time bowling last night and hope all who joined us did also! Thank you to everyone who went. We especially appreciate our chaperons going along to help everything run smoothly. We had a fun time bowling with a devotion from Bro. Josh before we left. Thank you Mrs. Jackie for preparing the taco meat and dessert!!! We just wanted to share some of the pictures for those of you that were there, and to encourage others to join us next time.

Teen Bowling Activity

Who: 6th to 12th graders

Where: meet at the church for dinner then we'll all go to the bowling alley on Irby Street

When: Friday February 19, 5pm (we'll try to be back by 9:30pm)

What: The bowling alley has been rented out by several church groups and there will be Christian music. No smoking or alcohol at the alley while we are there.

*Let us know if you need a ride to the church.

We had another wonderful Senior Valentine's Banquet filled with good fellowship, great food, and lots of fun! Yeeeehaaww! The decorations, costumes, and skit revealed that this year's theme was in the spirit of Hillbilly. We had an attendance of no less than 33, along with many teen and adult workers. Also, our main singer and speaker was Bro. Chris Edwards, who is currently the youth pastor of Florence Baptist Temple, in Florence. Thanks to all who came out and attended our sixth annual banquet! We hope you enjoyed it. Finally, thank you to all the teen and adult workers who served!

This past Sunday, we had such a good time at church celebrating Round Up Day. Our goal was to get in folks who either used to go to Bethany or friends and family. It was a fun day full of family, food, fun, music, and a message by our pastor.
