Special Easter Service

He's Alive! He is Risen Indeed!

We would like to invite you all to join us this Sunday at Bethany for an Easter Sunrise Service starting at 7 am. Below is a schedule of the days activities:

Sunrise Service at 7 am
Breakfast at 8 am
(We'll be picking up kids on the van during this hour.)
Sunday School at 9 am
Worship Service at 10 am

Lunchtime...Chow down!

Riverbanks Zoo has so much to offer families and groups. This Saturday we took our 2nd-6th grade Juniors, and for many it was a first time. I wish you could have seen some of their faces as they gazed at the giraffes, lions, zebras, penguins, monkeys, kangaroos, lemurs, and dozens of other animals. We had twenty-five kids and eight adults (including Josh & I) meet at the church at 9:30 that morning. We arrived at the zoo around 11:30. Then enjoyed a picnic lunch that several parents and church families helped provide. Bro. Josh then divided us into four groups with each having two leaders.

It was such a fun trip! We are so thankful to everyone who had a part in it. To those who provided our lunches and snacks, sponsored a child, drove a vehicle, and came with us we say "THANK YOU!!!!!" May God bless you.

We are very excited about God's blessing on our youth group!!! As I mentioned in our family blog in 2009, we were praying that God would provide a bus for our church to pick up more children and to help with Senior Saint trips. Well, I am glad that a couple months later I was able to post that God answered that prayer with a YES! Our bus is officially on the road each Wednesday night picking up children for Jesus. Praise the Lord for the blessings He has wrought!

Who: Juniors (2nd-6th Grades)

Olympics Photos

We are so excited with what God has been doing with our youth! Including today's, we have had so many fun acitivites. This activity was called Mighty March Olympics in which we played Balance Battles, Skateboard Skiing, Frisbee Target and much more. We had 6 teens in attendance. Most importantly, we had time to learn from God's Word. Hebrews 12:1-3 reveals that as Christian's we are running a race and we are to be faithful to the end. We understood that in order to be faithful in this race we are to 1. Learn from the witnesses and the Word (Vs 1) 2. We are to Lay aside every sin in our life, because sin will hold us back from doing God's Will 3. We are to Look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. He is all we need!
