The Senior saints had their maiden voyage on the new bus yesterday as we had a great time going to the Asheboro Zoo. God blessed us with some beautiful patches of sunshine and some showers along the way too. Thankfully there were indoor exhibits, an indoor orchid festival, aviary, and shuttles to help you throughout the zoo! It was such a JOY to be with our friends and enjoy the beauty of God's creation with them.

Bro. Josh with Andrew and Adam
Adam Driggers

Andrew Strickland

Congratulations to the Class of 2010! We are so proud of Adam Driggers and Andrew Strickland for completing High School. We pray the Lord's blessings on your lives and that you will remain faithful to the Lord and church. Where ever God may guide you, we pray that you will follow His leading and stay in and true to His Word.

Always remember Proverbs 3: 5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall bring it to pass."

VBS Theme Announced!

We are excited to announce this year's Vacation Bible School Theme as Saddle Ridge Ranch! Anticipating what God is going to do through the prayers and commitment of His people, we are expecting this to be a VBS to remember. We are planning on many children participating as well as parents. Please, join us in prayer for the boys and girls who will be coming to VBS and the volunteers who will be making it possible. We are praying that many children will hear the Gospel and accept Christ into their hearts.
Dates: June 21-25, 2010
Time: 6:30- 9:00 each night
Motto: Roundin' up questions. Drivin' home answers!
Verse: James 1:5

Please, let Bro. Josh or Mrs. Stephanie know if you are able to help with Vacation Bible School this summer. There are sign up sheets in the foyer and back entrance of the church. Thank you in advance for praying and volunteering.

Thank you for Supportting our Youth

We would like to thank all who had a part in making the Youth Yard sale, Car wash, and Hot dog plate sale a great success. We greatly appreciate all of our faithful volunteers who have helped us price the items, made brownies and chili, donate items, wash cars, cook, clean, or mow at the field. So much time was invested by each of you who had a part in today's activities. We are also grateful to each of you who came out to support us by getting your car washed, purchasing items, or having lunch with us.
