Fall Fundaygo Party!

We enjoyed a fun filled day with the teens and juniors taking them to Fundaygo, an inflatable bounce area.  They had fun on the slides, moon bounces, and obstacle courses!  Then we had a pizza picnic at the Lynches River Park.  We are so glad for each kid and adult that came out!  Enjoy the pics below!

Third Annual Willard Farms Trip

Juniors and Teens don't forget that tomorrow we will be going to Willard Farms for the corn maze, awesome tunnel slides, bounce field, and more!!!!!

Meet at the church at 11 am tomorrow morning!
Cost is $5, lunch is included.
If you are getting picked up by the bus be ready by 10am.

Back to School Bash!

Attention ALL JUNIORS!!!!!
TOMORROW from 10am-1pm at the ball field we will be having our back to school activity!  You don't want to miss the fun and excitement!
There will be a bounce "house" carrousel, a water slide, and water games!
Lunch will be provided.

*NO bathing suits are to be worn.    Don't forget your towel.  Guys, please, wear wind pants or shorts and a dark t-shirt.  Girls, please, wear knee length shorts or pants and a dark t-shirt.*

Southern Grace ECLR

This announcement is not only for our teen girls, but also for our church ladies.  We are pleased to announce this year's annual East Coast Ladies Retreat that will be hosted by Parkers Chapel FWB Church in Greenville, NC at the Greenville Convention Center.  The dates for the retreat are October 14 & 15, 2011.  The speakers this year will be Mrs. Sharon Rabon, Mrs. Gail Barnard, and  Mrs. Kristie Coghill.


The theme is Southern Grace taken from the theme verse 2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in the grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

VBS 2011 Pictures!

Kids around the world can show courage by God's grace.  Remembering the prisoners in trials that they face, praying for his suffering ones.  Speaking up for them.  We give our lives to care for those, who give their lives for Him.  Jeesus gave his life, so we might live.  So we give our lives to Him.  These are the words to our theme song for the week.

We had a wonderful week of Bible School learning about how Christians are treated in some other countries.  We averaged 65 kids each night and 22 adult helpers.  On Friday night we had 70 kids present, and had 75 registered throughout the week.  God is so good to bring us into contact with so many of the children in our community.  We praise Him for the opportunities He gives to share His love.

VBS Commencement

Thank you so much for sending your kids to Vacation Bible School this week!  We had a great week full of fun and excitement!  It's not over yet!
Please, come out and support your child this Sunday night at 5:40 for VBS Commencement.  The children and teens will be singing some of the songs they learned, reviewing the lessons, reciting Bible verses, and collecting their crafts.  There will also be a time of fellowship and refreshment following the service.

You won't want to miss it!!!

Kids of Courage VBS

Your invited to kids of Courage VBS!!!  Please, join us for Vacation Bible School the rest of this week!  We will be having dinner at 6:30 Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!  We are having classes for PreK-8th grade.  WE are having a great time so far this week and are looking forward to all that God has in store for everyone in attendance.

Harvest Time Bible Camp

We had a great time this week at Camp!  Best news of all to share is that six of our kids got saved!  We had several make decisions for the Lord!  God is so good! They also enjoyed themselves horseback riding, paddle boading, swimming, hiking, making crafts, playing in the game room, and much more!  WE appreciate all the parents who allowed their children to go to camp with us, and our church members who gave financially so that they could go!

Harvest Time Bible Camp for Juniors

Juniors get ready for an exciting week of camp!!! We will be leaving the church this Monday (June 27)  morning and returning Friday (July 1) afternoon!

If you haven't turned your forms into Bro. Josh along with $30 please do so tomorrow night at church!  We had a great time last year at this camp and are anticipating a great return next week!

Well, here are the photos from Family Day '11 & Youth Aflame that was held in Cramerton, NC!  We are so grateful for all the families who came out to family day on June 4 and the teens who went with us to the conference last week!  We are so thankful for the one who received Christ as her Savior and the one who surrendered her life to missionary service.

Family Day

Our 3rd Annual Family Day had to be rescheduled due to rain.  This Saturday is the day to bring your family out to the ballfield for food, fun and fellowship!

When: Saturday, June 4
Where: Bethany Ballfield (located on 301 beside Unity Church)
Who: All Church FAMILY (kids be sure to bring your parents!!!)

We are going to have games, moon bounces for the little and big kids, and lots of food!

3rd Annual Family Day

Teens, juniors, and church family invite your loved ones to our third annual family day that will take place this Saturday.  We will be grilling out and have a picnic at our ballfield located on Hwy. 301 beside Unity Church.  This is a good time of fun and fellowship!  Please, come out and join us!!!!!

This year the Valentine Banquet had to be postponed because of a full calendar in February. So we renamed it the Agape Banquet to honor couples who have been married twenty-five years or longer, or those who are fifty-five and above. Sir Handsomelot and Gouber kept us laughing as they attempted to rescue Princess Sweetie Angel (well the actors were laughing, because one thing we know, things do not always go as planned). We were privileged to have former South Carolina FWB Conference Moderator Theron Scott to give the devotional this year. We really appreciate his words of encouragement and reminder to live chivalrous lives especially in our marriages.

On behalf of the teenagers we greatly appreciate everyone who attended this years Agape Banquet! We enjoyed serving you as a way of saying thank you for your dedication to our church and testimony for our Lord. May God richly bless you and your families.

Revival

The Lord truly has blessed us this week during Revival with Bro. Kevin Woolard! We hope that you can come out and worship with us tomorrow and Wednesday night at 7:30!

Details: Eat lunch before you come. We'll meet at the church at 1pm to arrive a few minutes early at the Convention Center. Then, we'll have supper when we return. We should be done around 5pm.
